Working in the field of transport information software development and as consultants, JourneyPlan use state-of-the-art information technology applications to improve services and increase revenues for a broad range of transport operators.

Our aim is to assist the industry in meeting the challenge of providing accurate, updated passenger information to the travelling public and tourists.  This starts with the effective management of timetable and schedule data, the accuracy of which is crucial to successful implementation of service and information extensions.

Translink in Northern Ireland, NETIS/ Traveline in North East England and Transport Direct.

These organisations use our systems for their call centre operations, and/or as a basis for their internet service.

We supply the five Highlands and Islands counties of Scotland, providing training in PTI data input and maintenance timetable output and case notice production.

We also produce Stop Lists from our core data, schedules, timing points, real time data & displays and SMS communications.

In addition, the JourneyPlan database system is used extensively in the North of England and Scottish Borders, by Stirling, Argyll and Bute, Cumbria, Durham and Northumberland County Councils, and in the Western Isles, Orkney, Skye and Jura.

As a company we rely on our own technology in our Data Centre. We have wide practical experience, under genuine production pressures, of producing the systems using the same tools and expertise available to all customers.
