There are very few companies in the Public Transport Information (PTI) market today that manage and offer data as efficiently and effectively as JourneyPlan. That is what qualifies us to deliver new technologies such as SMS, WAP, wireless browsing and other services. As discussed there are two key common factors in PTI service delivery, apart from speed:
Mobile Internet provides planning information through the Internet. Using multiple template technology PTI can be delivered to suit PDAs, mobile and SmartPhones.
SMS/WAP services include at-stop timetable and real-time as well as journey planning capability. This includes both ‘push’ and ‘pull’ services with revenue share potential.
MMS (Multimedia Message Service) will allow the delivery of rich live content including maps, points of interest and tourist information to the extent required by the customer. This also has revenue share potential.
